Japan Japan sagot sa kahirapan Part 1

Every year me and wife travel together during our wedding anniversary, and this year is not an exception. Since we never been in Japan, we decided to try it this year and knowing us talagang nagpa-plan kami ahead of time. We got our plane ticket via Delta Airlines na mura since direct flight from SG to Narita-Tokyo pa ang flight namin and our hotel is the newly opened Courtyard by Marriott at Tokyo Station. I had my excel prepared for our itinerary from Day1 to Day5. hehehehe…

We slept late ng Tuesday night since last minute packing kami dahil busy noong mga nagdaang araw and woke up super early at 230am dahil 530am ang flight namin. Super groggy pa kami ng dumating sa airport dahil sa antok at first time kong ma-experience na super strict ang airline. Before kami maka-checkin me interview pa kami ng officer **weird**. Anyway all passengers naman tinatanong nila. hehehe..  Siguro dahil papuntang US ang flight.

Infairness masarap ang curry sa Delta Airlines. hehehe… at kape pampagising habang pinapanuod namin ang Documentary ng life ni Arnel Pineda ng Journey.. amazing journey talaga. hehehe.. :) Don’t Stop Believ’n.

When we landed sa Japan sabi ko parang Bacolod lang ang drama ng lugar ah! Madaming puno at medyo bukirin. hahahaha.. After namin makalabas ng airport we took the airport limousine kasi mas convenient ito compare mag-train ka and since ang hotel namin nearby lang sa bus stop kung saan titigil ang bus kaya sulit. hehehe..

Pagbaba namin sa bus,LOST in TRANSLATION ang drama namin ni misis.. hahaha..good thing napakabait ng mga tao sa Japan and I think this is one of the good reason why people are coming back sa country na ito. Yung taga assist namin ng maleta binigyan pa kami ng map at ni-guide pa kami kung saan ang hotel namin. After 5mins walk we found our hotel and it was really nice. We just rest for few minutes and decided to had our late lunch. Bumalik kami sa may Tokyo Station to find food and after so many choices we found this small shop na nagbebenta ng mga noodles. hehehehe… I’m telling you they love their language. hahaha… wala akong maintindihan kahit isang salita.. hahaha… and knowing pinoy we have this magic point-point or turn-turo sa tagalog. hahaha… and presto we had our lunch. Super nice yung cook at talagang mega effort para tulungan kaming umorder ng food. After that ikot-ikot kami and we found this waffle store… Im not a fan of waffle but this one is really great. i finished my waffle and I want more. hahaha… **carbo loading**

We went back sa hotel to rest then around 6pm we woke up and walk all the way to the shopping district of Tokyo (GINZA). The weather is nice if you’re holding a cup of coffee while walking. hehehe.. so we brought coffee at Starbucks. While walking we found this Suzuka St. and we tried that way. It was a nice alley with small shops and restaurants. And since medyo late evening na din we wanted na kumain na… and we found this super small shop na you need to go down to the basement to eat. It’s a traditional Japanese Restaurant and we ordered chicken bbq. It’s just chicken wings in salt and pepper with radish as dip. I’m telling you the taste was really great.. hidden treasure of Tokyo.. hehehe.. After we ate mukhang natuwa yung owner they gave us milk with orange na dessert and i super love it.

While walking back sa hotel we wanted to EAT again.. this time a heavy dinner na… hehehe… we found this amazing place to eat but unfortunately full house na sila so we decided to find a new place and we found this ZERO. Super simple place na kasya ay mga 10 people lang kmi tapos you will order sa harap mo siya lulutin. super nice ang place and then we tried the MILD Sake. hehehehe…

I can say na ang day 1 namin is really a good start. hehehehehe… hoping the remaining days will be a great one as well. :D
